Arnica Cream
Arnica cream is a herbal medicine to relieve mild joint and muscle aches and inflammation, sprains and bruise pain. It promotes the healing of bruises.
Arnica products like creams, gels and ointments are a common and safe way to use this herb. It is recommended for reducing bruising and joint or muscle aches.
Arnica is a plant with yellow or orange flowers that’s native to North America and most of Europe, with some species growing in India, Far East Russia and Japan. It’s been a player in traditional herbal medicine for centuries — particularly the Arnica Montana species, which grows in Europe.
While generally safe and arguably effective when applied externally, arnica contains about 150 bio-active components including a toxin called helenalin, which is deadly if consumed in large quantities.
